I'm a self-taught braiding mom from Finland. In this blog I will share pictures of braided styles I have done for my two lovely daughters.
As you have already noticed, the texts are in Finnish as the main goal for this blog is to share the braiding ideas to all the braiders in Finland. Perhaps there are some other moms who constantly think what to do with their daughters hair, and of course many braided styles look good not only on children but on anyone with a long hair!
I also aim to share links to tutorials which I greatly appreciate, of course always with credit. In November 2015 I started to make my own video tutorials, so I will also share links to those in Youtube. You can find my channel by the name "Elisabetsisters".
My own "braiding career" began when I saw some pictures of amazing braided styles for girls in internet and started to look for tutorials. Before this I always loved to do my girls' hair but never realised that there are so many other options than a regular or a french braid.
Quite soon I also figured out the braiding society in Instagram and started my first IG account in October 2014 in order to get inspiration. For my surprise my IG account @elisabetsisters was nominated for the Best Account Under 1000 followers in January by a group of active braiders in IG society. Since then my account has gained more followers and it has been so fun to be part of the international braiding society.
